Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. Her early years were spent listening to classical music, old boleros as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in vocals at age 16, under the direction of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. Her early professional career saw her perform with many orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. When she moved into America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. In addition to being a local performer and instructor the passion for music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
