Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) was awarded a Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. He released his debut long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. The group released Dopamina, his chart-topping second album, in the year following. Later in 2021 he performed a duet on the TINI streaming hit single Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. Both his parents also played the guitar. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. When he was young, he instructed to play the piano, guitar and ukulele. Though his original career plan was to be veterinarian His brother Julian advised him to begin studying singing with a Cuban. It transformed his life forever.
