Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish Flamenco and pop artist from Spain. As a singer, she has played in the margins of both traditional and popular music since her teens she also explores other styles like hip-hop, soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist with a lot of talent, describes her voice as one that is sweet, with a traditional sound. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial hit. The album topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and earned her an Grammy. In 2021, the single La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami came out as her fourth album that was full-length. The album featured collaborations on music writing with several producers and artists, including Cory Henry. The release date was the 20th March in 2022 following the performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to perform on the show on Saturday Night Live. While she also won three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
